Referrals and billing
All private patients can access our services without a medical referral. If a referral has been provided please ensure this is given to your physio so as to facilitate continuity of your care.
Clients who feel they are eligible for Compulsory Third Party (CTP) cover need to bring a referral with them. At Phyxit we require payment at time of consultation and you will be required to claim back through your insurer. Your physio will need a referral and your claim details however so that they can fill out all appropriate paper work to facilitate your ongoing treatment. You will need these details also, so you can claim your costs.
Unfortunatly, due to new Work Cover (WC) legislation - 2011, Phyxit Physio & Injury Clinic no longer takes any WC clients. We are more than happy to refer you onto a clinic who treats WC related injuries.
